Vito High-Roof Premium Floor 40,000 km Review
As the sister model to the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, the Vito has become a popular choice for commercial vehicle customization due to its excellent value. However, the Vito leaves the factory positioned as a cargo version with minimal interior features, requiring nearly everything to be retrofitted. This article documents a Guangzhou owner's real-world feedback after 40,000 km of use.

Modification Plan
The owner opted for a complete upgrade package: high roof conversion, aviation seats, aviation aluminium floor, ambient lighting, and multi-functional bar console. The floor chosen was the Yishang Gray aviation aluminium, paired with third-generation welcome steps, totaling approximately 80,000 yuan.

4 km Feedback
Wear Resistance: After daily use in the driver's area, the HPL surface shows only extremely minor signs of use with no visible scratches. The third-row loading zone occasionally held heavy items without any dents or deformation on the floor surface.
Cleaning & Maintenance: Daily cleaning requires only a damp mop. Deep cleaning once a month. The original Vito's fleece carpet cleaning troubles are completely solved.
Noise Reduction: The modification included full-vehicle soundproofing, combined with the floor's acoustic layer, significantly reducing road noise below 60km km/h. Tire noise on cement surfaces on elevated roads has improved.
Occasional Issues: At one year, a loose screw was found on the right rear step once; after tightening, no recurrence. Small debris got stuck in the second-row slide rail channel once; cleared and returned to normal.
